Pitch Raise

Service Description

A pitch raise needs to be performed on an instrument that is drastically under pitch and will require several tunings over a short time period to bring the strings back to the proper tension. In some cases, a small pitch raise can be performed in the same appointment. However, if a piano has not been tuned for some time, a pitch raise must be performed over several appointments so as not to place too much stress on the piano. Regular tunings every six months after a pitch raise will preserve tuning stability and keep your piano sounding as the manufacturer intended.
